Colosseum Rome — Only guide dogs or therapy dogs (with medical certification) are allowed inside the Colosseum and closed areas (Art. 9.3); no other pets.
Roman Forum and Palatine Hill Rome — The open areas of the Roman Forum and Palatine allow small dogs (under 10 kg) carried exclusively in an appropriate pet carrier; guide/therapy dogs with medical certification otherwise (Art. 9.3).
Pantheon Rome — 'It is forbidden to have dogs of any size with you, unless it is a guide dog or a service dog needed for documented medical reasons.' Assistance/service dogs only.
Capitoline Museums Rome — Domestic animals forbidden except small dogs carried in a pet carrier ('cani di piccola taglia nel trasportino').
