- ColosseumRome Only guide dogs or therapy dogs (with medical certification) are allowed inside the Colosseum and closed areas (Art. 9.3); no other pets.
- Roman Forum and Palatine HillRome The open areas of the Roman Forum and Palatine allow small dogs (under 10 kg) carried exclusively in an appropriate pet carrier; guide/therapy dogs with medical certification otherwise (Art. 9.3).
- PantheonRome Dogs are not allowed, except guide dogs or certified support animals for documented medical needs (Ministry of Culture Pantheon page).
