Where the rules come from

Every venue's rules are taken from official sources: the venue's own visitor-rules page, FAQ, or regulations (PDF included). Each venue page links the sources we used, quotes the relevant official wording and shows the date it was last checked.

What the statuses mean

• Allowed permitted per the official rules.
• Limited allowed with conditions — a size limit, mandatory cloakroom, no flash, assistance animals only, and so on. The note explains the condition.
• Not allowed prohibited per the official rules.
• Not specified the venue doesn't state it publicly. We never fill the gap with a guess.

Confidence levels

Each venue carries a confidence level describing how complete and explicit its official sources are:

• High (40 venues) — a formal regulation or detailed official FAQ covering bags and most items.
• Medium (6) — official information exists but is partial or scattered across pages.
• Low (4) — the venue publishes very little; most items are "Not specified".

Venues that document 4 or fewer of the 11 items (7 today) are still listed and linked, but flagged on the page and kept out of search indexes until their official rules say more.

Bag sizes

Size limits are copied exactly as the venue publishes them (e.g. "30×40×15 cm" or "three sides together no more than 1 linear metre"). The "Will my bag fit?" check on venue pages compares your bag against that published number only; where a venue gives no clean number, or the number refers to its lockers rather than to what you may carry, we don't offer the check.

Freshness

Rules change. Every page carries a "last checked" date (currently between 2026-06-14 and 2026-09-24), and venues are re-checked against their official pages; broken official links are monitored automatically. Even so, confirm on the official site before you go.
